When I decided I wanted to make some extra money and work from home, that couple of years back, I decided I wanted to start an online business with the view to having it set up and running by the time I retired in, what was then, 5 years. There is an overwhelming amount of people and information to help you succeed in achieving this, but my biggest hurdle along the way was finding people, products and information that were genuine.

I am by no means a perfect person; however, I am an ethical person. I did not want to promote anything, whether it is a person, a product or information that was not real and did not deliver as advertised. This made it difficult to make money, as I had decided on Affiliate Marketing as I was not ready to create my own product. I could not afford to buy every product that came along to see whether it met my standards so I just had to plod along, learning (a lot) as I went.

Just recently I have found 2 people who are very genuine, the products deliver as advertised and the information they provide is invaluable.

The first one is Joel Therien. I talked a little about him and his company in my previous post “Brand New Marketing Tools and Business Opportunity – GVO”.

The more I have to do with this man, via the Internet of course, the more I like Him and his Company.

He is honest – when something goes wrong (as it will in a new company) he lets you Know and keeps you updated (via video blog and email at least 2/week) until it’s fixed. So far, problems have been fixed very quickly.

He listens – when people ask questions on his blog he responds quickly and if they request further features in his products, he and his team do their best to oblige.

He and his team are constantly upgrading their products and opportunity to offer more value.
